China → Spain
China into Spain, planned as two countries of paperwork
The movement itself is ordinary: courier for a handful of samples, air when a restock is late, the block train when you want something between the two, an ocean container when volume earns it. What makes Spain a separate conversation is that the map is not one tax area. Peninsular deliveries through Barcelona and Valencia behave like any EU destination. Madrid, Seville and Zaragoza are ordinary road legs behind those ports. The Balearics add an inter-insular step, and the Canaries sit outside the standard EU VAT territory altogether, so a Las Palmas consignment gets its own treatment and its own quote instead of being folded into a mainland number.
Tell us which Spain you mean. It is the first thing we ask, and it is the thing that decides whether the clearance is routine or a case.
Departure options and their current ranges
- Express courier: 1-5 working days, approximately
- Air freight: 2-7 days, approximately
- Rail block train: 12-20 days, approximately
- Sea freight, box or consolidated: 23-48 days, approximately
Rail and ocean numbers are the ranges already published for our China-Europe departures rather than a promise tied to a Spanish quay. Which sailing, which terminal and which week you are in are decided at booking, because capacity, season and the queue at customs outrank any table printed beforehand. Nothing on this page is a guarantee, and we would rather say so here than in the small print.
Who clears, and on whose name
Shipments move DDP or DDU; the wider network stays on EXW, FCA, DAP and DDP. Duty and VAT settle against the declared values and against whichever party the chosen term places as importer of record — a decision with consequences well past the invoice, since that party also carries the compliance exposure if a commodity code turns out to be wrong. Send the Spanish tax identification you intend to use, or say plainly that you want the shipment delivered with our name on the import, and we will price accordingly.
Marketplace receiving appointments, third-party warehouses and private addresses are all deliverable, and there is no minimum order quantity — one piece leaves as a shipment. Blades, supplements and children's toys need a channel answer first, so no date reaches your customer until that answer exists.
Shown times are approximate and indicative; carriers, seasons and customs holds move them. Spanish enquiries are answered within 24 hours.

Before booking, compare this lane with the China to Italy and China to Belgium lanes: the three are quoted on the same China-to-Europe network terms, so the pick rests on the consignee address rather than on a different service.
