Inspection and returns, both handled on the Chinese side

Two separate jobs get confused under this heading, so they are kept separate here. Pre-shipment checking happens before goods ever commit to a leg. Returns processing happens after a customer or a marketplace sends something back. Both are carried out at our Shenzhen, Suzhou or Dongguan sites, and both end with a written result you can act on rather than a photograph and a feeling.

Checking before departure

A check is only useful if it can fail something. So the list is agreed in advance: quantity against the packing list, carton condition and closure, the label that will be scanned at the other end, the presence of the documents that must travel with the goods, and — where you specify it — a functional sample from the batch rather than the whole batch. Where a carton crosses a border on a wooden base, the marking on that base is verified here too, and the treatment itself stays with the licensed facility that issued it, exactly as it does for a crate we build versus one you deliver ready-made.

If a check fails, the goods do not move. You hear about it the same day, with the count, the photographs and the two or three options that are actually open: put right at the bench, hold while a decision is made, or split the shipment so a compliant portion leaves.

Goods coming back

Our points abroad exist to move consignments forward. They do not take parcels back, they do not accept goods for inspection, and no overseas station will hold a return for you. Anything coming back therefore has a Chinese address on it, and once it arrives here it is opened, counted, assessed against the condition you define, and then dispositioned: restocked if it is genuinely resalable, relabeled or re-boxed if the packaging failed but the item did not, held separately if it is damaged, or written off with your instruction. Compensation on any loss stays tied to the value declared on the paperwork, which is the number that governs a claim later.

Nothing on this page describes a service we do not run, and nothing describes an overseas capability we do not have. That is deliberate: a seller who plans a European returns hub on the strength of a warehouse page will discover the cost of it at the wrong moment.

The money side of a return — who bears the cost, and against which figure — is settled by the returns and refund terms on this site.
